Trick or treat! The winners have been announced for Get Well Delmarva's Happy Howl-o-ween Pet Costume Contest. We had some tough competition with 19 cute costumed pets, but the winners are:

First: Old Man Bruce

Second: Lunar (in sombrero)

Third: Bambi (in sunglasses and shirt)

Dog dressed in sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt

All entrants have been contacted. All winners will receive a prize pack, but all entrants will also receive a prize this year.

Prize

Three lucky winners will be selected to win a Get Well Delmarva prize pack by our readers; voting will take place Oct. 23 through 30. To be eligible for the prize, you must reside on Delmarva – Delaware, Maryland or Virginia.

Contest duration

The contest entry period starts Wednesday, Oct. 8, at noon and ends Tuesday, Oct. 21, at noon. Please email your photo to [email protected]. By entering, you're giving us permission to share this photo of your pet in connection with the contest.

On Thursday, Oct. 23, visit getwelldelmarva.com to vote for your favorite pet, and encourage your family and friends to vote, too! Winners will be announced Friday, Oct. 31.
