Jeanne  Ruff

Jeanne E. Ruff, MS, ACSM-CEP-PD, FAACVPR, is the senior executive director of the TidalHealth Guerrieri Heart & Vascular Institute.

She received her Master of Science degree in exercise physiology/cardiac rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse and is certified as a clinical exercise physiologist and program director through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Ruff has been with TidalHealth for over 30 years, starting as director of TidalHealth Cardiovascular, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Preventive Cardiology. She was hired to start and build the cardiac rehabilitation program, and from that directive, she diversified the program offerings to include Adult Fitness, Fitness Plus for employees, pulmonary rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation and PAD rehabilitation.

Ruff was a founding leader/board member and has held various board roles in the Maryland Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and also served on the board of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, including in the role of president. She served on the American College of Sports Medicine's Committee on Certification and Education and as chair of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Expert Panel for Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Certification.

Throughout her career, Ruff has lectured throughout the United States and internationally on cardiac/pulmonary/PAD rehabilitation, program operations, program certification and management of service.

In her role as senior executive director of the Guerrieri Heart & Vascular Institute, Ruff has been instrumental in bringing advanced cardiovascular technologies, procedures and services to TidalHealth, and she also oversees compliance and regulatory/quality requirements.
