Laren MacMillan is the author of The Motherload, a parenting column designed to empower moms, build community, and celebrate the chaos and joy of raising a family. A former newspaper editor turned healthcare marketer, Laren grew up in Ocean City, Md., and still calls the Delmarva beaches home. She's a mom of three, which means her free time is mostly spent doing laundry, navigating youth sports, and making Target runs she swears are just for “one thing.” She writes to remind other moms that perfection isn’t the goal — showing up is.
