Alyson Heenan

Alyson Heenan is a registered dietitian specializing in medical weight loss and bariatric surgery. She received her certificate in training for Obesity Interventions for Adults in 2019 and became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2021.

Alyson is an Eastern Shore local and has been practicing in the area since 2018. She became interested in working in healthcare when she was in high school after learning of the diabetes & obesity rates in her local community. She began cooking as a hobby and started to learn more about nutrition's impact on health, which eventually led her to becoming a registered dietitian.

In her spare time, Alyson enjoys creating new recipes for her food blog, going out on the boat with friends/family, and cheering on the Salisbury University baseball team.
