Hailey Elizabeth Vaughn, RBT

Hailey Elizabeth Vaughn is a registered behavior technician (RBT) at TidalHealth Pediatric Development & Therapy, where she provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder.

Vaughn is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Disability Studies at Salisbury University. Her academic and professional interests center on developmental disabilities, neurodiversity, mental health and the importance of person-centered and affirming approaches to care.

Through her work in pediatric ABA and her studies in psychology and disability, Vaughn is particularly interested in promoting greater understanding of neurodivergent individuals and encouraging practices that recognize and respect the diverse ways people communicate, learn and experience the world. She plans to pursue graduate education in applied behavior analysis and become a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), with the goal of continuing to support neurodivergent individuals and promoting compassionate, individualized and affirming care.
